Below is a link to an Excel document with the My GLP-1 Life 7-day Meal Plan. I created this based on my experience with GLP-1 medication. I am not a dietitian or a nutritionist, nor do I have any medical training. Please understand that this plan is not medical advice, but an example of meals and foods you might enjoy. If you’d like to see formal, professionally created meal plans, there are some linked below. I’ve included plans from the Mayo Clinic and other reputable places.
My GLP-1 Life 7-Day Meal Plan includes meals and snacks I typically eat in a week. I’ve tried to provide a range of foods for you to see your options. You can substitute most snacks by consulting the list of extras I have included on the last page.
Please note: The plan focuses on protein to stave off muscle loss, but also because I have very high protein requirements. In addition, because of the medication, I often cannot eat everything listed in the plan, and per my nutritionist, I supplement my diet with a multivitamin. These address the inevitable deficiencies in my diet as I’m not meeting traditional nutrient requirements.
